Collection Giuliani-Luciani

A remarkable monument in the center of Corsica...

Collection Giuliani-Luciani

In 1997, the Museum of Corsica acquired furniture from the 17th and 18th centuries, an old library collection and a salon organ.

This exceptional collection, coming from the Casa Giuliani-Lucani in Muru, bears witness to the professional, social and cultural life of a family of Balanese notables in the 18th century. The most remarkable piece of furniture is the 8-stop organ, made by Giuseppe Saladini, which can be dated to 1802.
